Painting is the means through which I relate to and understand the world. In reality, the art of painting is the energy that emanates from the canvas. I place significant value to the notion that the expressed energy is positive. Otherwise, the art will lose its meaning and purpose. To me, the style of creativity has lesser importance. But rather it is essential to possess civility and gentle attitude toward yourself and the world. In order to keep the ever-changing balance of the world in harmony, I believe it is crucial to have a rapid advancement of art. Art might lose its connotation if we are not able to keep pace with today’s rhythm and dynamics. Creativity must by in parallel with progressiveness, it should be contemporary, and even take a step further and lead. Nikol Aghababyan was born in 1964 in Koghb village of Tavoush region of Armenia.
