Born in 1975, Kerala, India. He presently works and lives in Alleppey. Kerala. Ameen Khaleel solo shows range from "Rumor" at Hues Art Gallery of Chennai in 2007, "Penumbras of life lines" at Alliance Francaise of Chennai and at Funky Art Cafe of Thiruvanathapuram in 2005,"Silent Spectator" at Galleria Synagogue of Cochin in 2004. In 2007 he exhibited his works in a joint show with Teppo Valkama at Gallery Oliven in Son, Norway and with Marco Baigini in the sport clinic at Scipione Ammirato, Italy and within "Fragmented Translations", in Hues Art Gallery, Chennai. In 2006 he took part in the group shows "Skieve Dagger"in Oslo, Norway, a group show in gallery Olivan in Son, Norway and "Opposite Reason: Only One Different Sky' at Bodhi Contemporary Art Space of Cochin. In 2004, he participated in a State Exhibition at Lalit Kala Academi of Cochin,Kerala. In 2003 he was part of a Group Show at Amethyst Gallery of Chennai and of a State Exhibition at Lalit Kala Academi, Kerala. In 2002 his works were displayed at the P.P.A. Group Show at Chola Sheraton Hotel of Chennai and in the Annual Exhibition, Cholamandal Artists' village of Chennai. In 2001 he participated in MERE" at Apparao Gallery of Chennai, in "Small Format Show" at Vinyasa Gallery of Chennai, in "Small Format Bronze Sculpture Show" at Cholamandal Artists'Village of Chennai, in the Group Show of Cholamandal Artists' in Chola Sheraton Hotel of Chennai, in the Young Artists from Madras'" at Palette People Gallery of Cochin, in the Group Show at Kerala Kalapeedom of Cochin, in the Group Show at Kerala Kalagramam of Mahe. In 2000 he was invited by the Gallery Azimuth of Strasbourg, France; he took part in several Group Shows: with Andre Nabarro and Blodsow at DC Art Gallery, Kotayam; at Vinyasa of Chennai, at Cholamandal Artists' Village of Chennai, at the Cholamandal Artists' Group Show at Spencer Plaza of Chennai, at Cholamandal Artists' Group Show at Aurodhan Art Gallery of Pondicherry. In 1999 he took part in the CAMLIN South Indian Regional Show of Banglore. In 1997 he presented his works in Jabal Ali Hotel of Dubai.
