I am Jaya Tandan, a young artist and biotechnology student based in Mumbai, India.

I create handmade artworks inspired by nature, emotions, everyday life and the thoughts that stay with me. For me, painting is not only about creating something beautiful, but also about expressing an idea or a feeling through colours, forms and small details.

I enjoy exploring landscapes, peaceful surroundings and symbolic elements in my artworks. Many of my paintings carry a personal meaning, where simple things like a boat, a tree, a bird or a sunset can represent something deeper about life, dreams and growth.

I mostly work with traditional, handmade techniques and enjoy keeping the natural character and texture of the artwork visible. As I continue learning and experimenting, I hope to develop my own artistic style and connect with people through the stories behind my paintings.

Every artwork I create is a small piece of what I see, feel and believe.
