About the Artist:
Born in Kerala, India, Dinesh PG is an eminent contemporary artist and sculptor. He has received various prestigious awards, some of which are the National Academy Award for Painting (2002), Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, and Kerala Lalithakala State Akademi Award in sculpture (2016). Senior fellowship award from the ministry of India in the field of paintings (2016-17).
He has also received many grants and scholarships. He has done many solos and group shows abroad and in India. Some of his famous exhibitions include the ‘Pop People Forest Fantasy’ Exhibition of paintings (2014), ‘Framing the framed’ Singapore (2011), ‘Art Konsult’ New Delhi (2011,2008,2009). Lampoon & the Trivia Ishka Gallery, Ernakulum (2008), Tales of Tongue Museum gallery, Mumbai (2006), Hidden Art in Malmo, Sweden (2014), Whole indigo Blue, Singapore (2010), Salon ëDí Autumn, Praise (2005), Affordable Art show and auction – London (2004), Singapore art fair – Singapore (2004), Contemporary Art Show Osaka – Japan (2005).
