Open call from Site Jodhpur
Artists, creators, and practitioners, this is your opportunity to develop a major site-responsive work for the inaugural edition of SITE Jodhpur.
Curated by the PATI team under the thematic framework Livestream by Ranjit Hoskote, this edition invites artists to engage with Jodhpur’s historic stepwells, water systems, ecological histories, and collective memory. We are looking for thoughtful, ambitious proposals that explore water not only as a resource, but as culture, community, infrastructure, and lived experience.
Young & Emerging Artist once selected will receive:
* Dedicated curatorial support throughout the development process
* Mentorship from acclaimed artist and graphic novelist Vishwajyoti Ghosh
* Opportunities to engage with local communities, artisans, and knowledge holders
* Presentation of their work as part of SITE Jodhpur 2027
* Visibility among curators, collectors, museum professionals, and the wider arts community
* One selected artist will receive a production grant of up to ₹1.5 lakh to support their projectApplications will be reviewed by a distinguished jury comprising: Archana Hande, Anahita Taneja, Ranjit Hoskote, Ravi Agarwal, and Sana Rezwan.
