The long-awaited Samdani Art Award 2026 is here! Since 2012
The Samdani Art Award has served as a globally recognized platform dedicated to the international visibility, professional exchange, and artistic development of emerging Bangladeshi artists. For the 2026 edition, curators Diana Campbell and Mohamed Almusibli invite artists based in Bangladesh to apply.
Initiated by Kunsthalle Basel in collaboration with the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia and Samdani Art Foundation, shortlisted artists will present their work at Kunsthalle Basel as part of Regionale 27, a major exhibition project spanning institutions across Switzerland, France, and Germany—and, through this collaboration, extending its reach to Bangladesh.
